After you create a forum...when/how does it show up in the list so that it can be found?

Hi Alan, thanks for responding. Actually, that took me to a screen that wants me to login/logout when I'm already logged in and then it won't let me enter anything! Help. =;-) I will try a few more times.

How do I get the forum to show up on the Forum Directory though please? No one else, well...including me, can see it at the moment. Am I daft or is there something simple that I am missing??

Hey you are the one who created the acoustic cafe   I Just found it, thank you for making it   

Out of curiosity, are you the Fhaedra from myspace Lit forum?  

At any rate, I made the philosophy forum that is right next to yours, and I asked the same question, if my forum could be moved into a place where it could get traffic along side the other forums.... to no avail.  

I am assuming the lack of answer corresponds to a lack of decision by the person whose call it would ultimately be.

Which means for now we are on our own, and will have to use viral marketing techniques (read invite your friends) to spread the word of the existence of our forums.

Again, thank you for making the forum you made, and I anticipate that it will pick up with time

Hi Noah. Thanks for your comments. Yes, I am she who lurks in the Lit forum over there.

Thanks for joining the Acoustic Cafe...I've invited a few friends whom I know are interested in music so we'll see where it goes. It was invisible at first and I read somewhere that it would remain so until at least 10 topics were posted in it. Hence, all those topics started by yours truly. I'm just trying to figure out how it all works. =;-)  When Alan gets back from making rounds answering all the other questions he's been asked, maybe he can help get it into the Music category.

Same with your new Philosophy forum. If people can see it, surely they will come. And others follow, yes?
