     On the 24th of July, which is a Sunday, I launched one of my tanks in the contest because it says in the FAQ that if I do that, my tank will participate in the following week. It did not participate: I searched for it, my family searched for it, my friends searched for it, again and again, never seen. But, I said to myself, it is just an online game, not a question of life and death, to hell with my 10 diamonds.
     For this very reason I entered last week's contest on Monday, as a result of which my two tanks appeared close to the very end of the the list, but never mind. At about 22.30 one of my tanks had 52 likes, the other one had 46. Looking at last week's winners with 52 likes my more popular tank (No5) should have been ranked from 80-82, which as I see should have earned me 20 diamonds, not to mention my less popular tank (No9), which may or may not have earned me another 20. Needless  to say, I haven't got any.
     What have I missed this time? I guess I should know if only to know if I should enter any more contests or earn any more diamonds and keep playing the game.

Contest is checked automatically, votes from fake accounts (for example, accounts clones) are subtracted automatically. Manually votes are not removed! The program has determined some fake votes were added to your aquarium and wrote them off automatically. As a result, the aquarium scored an insufficient number of votes to get the prize.
If someone is removed from the contest last week manually for gaining too many votes from fake accounts, 10 diamonds returned to the player's account.
Please, refer to the Rules under the game: "Please, take notice of the fact that any exposed tank can be excluded from the contest without any explanation. The entrance fee in this case gets returned to the tank owner."

I had hoped that family members signing in from the same computer (in the same household) will not be fake accounts.

So, if I understand right, I was not not removed from the contest, because no diamonds were returned to my account, only "fake votes" were written off.
