3.1 Its objects are:
a) To Ensure Different Experiences Every Ride -
These different experiences could be different routes, different destinations and different sub-destinations.
b) To Provide Riding Opportunities Without Prejudice -
Creating rides that caters for all motorcycles.
c) To Impart Riding Knowledge -
This knowledge encompasses riding techniques, riding ethics and trip information.
d) To Foster Camaraderie amongst Riders -
To Foster better rapport amongst riders within the club as well as amongst other clubs local or foreign.
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION AND RIGHTS
4.1 Membership shall be under 3 divisions:
a) Ordinary Member - Any person owning a motorcycle and has a genuine passion for riding will be eligible to apply for Ordinary Membership.
b) Associate Member - Any person with a genuine desire to be associated with the club shall be eligible to apply for Associate Membership.
c) Honorary Member - Honorary Members shall be elected at the discretion of the committee and for a time determined by the committee. Approval shall be given by the council to those whom the committee deem it worthwhile to be honoured with this position.
* Persons who are below 18 years of age shall not be accepted as members without the written consent of their parent or guardian.
4.2 Voting Rights - Constitutional Matters and General Business : Only Ordinary Membership will entitle a member to vote.
4.3 Only members who are above 21 years of age shall have the right to vote and to hold office in the Club.
APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
5.1 Ordinary Membership
A new member must be proposed and seconded by existing Ordinary Members. And prescribed application form to be submitted to the Secretary. The Committee will decide on membership, taking into consideration any objection raised.
5.2 A copy of the Constitution shall be furnished to every approved member.
5.3 Associate Membership
A new member must submit ones particulars to the Secretary on a prescribed form. No proposer and seconder needed for this. The committee will decide on the application for membership.
ENTRANCE FEES, SUBSCRIPTIONS AND OTHER DUES
6.1 Ordinary Membership
An application fee of $50.00 (Fifty Dollars) and subscription fee of S$50.00 (Fifty Dollars) is payable within two weeks of election to membership, in default of which membership may be cancelled by order of the Committee.
Members joining during the latter half of the fiscal year are obliged to pay only half the annual subscription to make them financial.
6.2 Associate Membership
There is no application fee payable for this membership application.
Subscription Dues
6.3 Ordinary Membership
There is an annual subscription fee of S$50.00 (Fifty Dollars) due at the end of the year, ending 31st December.
6.4 Associate Membership
There is no annual subscription for associate members.
6.5 Annual subscriptions are payable in advance within the first week of the December. If a member falls into arrears with his subscription, he shall be informed immediately by the Treasurer. If he falls into arrears for more than three (3) months, he will automatically cease to be a until such time as his arrears has been fully paid.
6.6 Any additional fund required for special purposes may only be raised from members with the consent of the general meeting of the members.
