Share pictures or a stories about your best, weirdest, worst, scariest or funniest concert memory....

Alice in Chains, Brixton/London December 2009.

I've never felt so much love from an audience before as i did this time. AIC seemed also totally overwhelmed over the incredible reception that they recieved. They stopped a couple of times and just looked out over the audience and gasped; "F*cking awesome..." It was rather calm in front of the stage, in the sense that there were no drunk skunks who came and plowed and throwed themself over people in their greedy attempt to reach the stage. There were a very respectful but happy audience.

There are a particulary two moment which I always will remember and that was Seans drums in the end of Angry Chair...brilliant moment...

...and when they played "Rain when I die"!

A picture that I took of Cantrell with my mobile...

The most violent concert that I have ever been to was when I saw NoFx at the P&L and all people that who accidently ended  in the middle of punk crowd know what I'm talking about. My friends laughed pretty hard at me after their gig becuase it looked like as I had been run over by a bloody bulldozer. I had bruises on my arms and legs after had being brutally smashed against the riot fence.

But then I noticed that the crowd calm down everytime he took out his trumpet and started to play. So I found myself screaming; LET US HEAR SOME MORE TRUMPET FOR CHRIST SAKE! Apparently it is not cool enough for a punk audience to jump around like a bunch of loonys to the sound of a trumpet - lucky fricking me...

Bryan Adams 1980.

My sambo knew a bloke who worked at CBS record company in the beginning of the 80s, who used to supply us with new album relases and different demos. One day he played us a demo of this new young rock dude from Canada  - Bryan Adams. We liked it so we grabbed an album.

A  couple of month later Bryan Adams came to Sweden to play in a small place called "Huset". The building had different levels and Adams played in one of the locals. I think we were about 30 people there at the most.

Several of the spectators only happen to be there. Totally unwitting of that it was a concert with Bryan Bloody Adams on the agenda. I think we were the only ones who actually knew who he was.

The whole scenario reminds me of that scene in the Mockumentary about Bad News,
when they have only a man who happens to pass by with his dog, in the audience...

Me and my friends were the only enthusiastic who jumped up and down in front of the stage   , so to speak. I mean we really tried our best   to light up the atmosphere a bit but apparently it wasn't enough for Mr Adams because he went absolutley bananas. He threw his guitar in the floor and left the stage about three times, before he finally gave up...that ungrateful bastard...

I would love to see AIC and Mastodon, and I would love to see the song Diamond Eyes performed by The Deftones.

I would love to get the chance to see Hypocrisy.

Nice pictures, Sara. Especially the picture of AIC - beautiful colours. Thanks for sharing.

I saw Peter Gabriel shortly after that he'd left Genesis 1978, at the same amusement park as Bob Marley and he was all over the place. All of a sudden he was gone but we spotted him high above, in one of the carousels, where he sang "Solsbury Hill".

After the song started he to plow himself through the crowd on his way back to the stage. Me and a friend stood leaning against a rope and streched us in an attempt to get a glimpse of him and there he was right in front of us all of a sudden. He pressed himself in panic between the two of us, so I almost stumbled over his back, when he threw himself under the rope in a desperately attempt to reach the stage.

He is a brilliant performer!

Saw Motorhead for my birthday this past  March. Clutch and Valient Thorr opened, and were both amazing. As far as Motorhead, the show was awesome but wow were they loud. Loudest show I have ever been to it. It was already painful to listen to, and Lemmy asked us if we wanted it louder, and somehow they made it louder. I heard zero in the way of guitar, even during solos, and I swear somehow my eyeballs were rattling from Lemmy's booming bass, it's all you heard. It was a good show though, and a lot of fun, but it was so loud I really couldn't tell you half of the songs that Motorhead played. Got a bass pic from Lemmy that he tossed to the crowd, some great pics and video.

Ha ha yes. I definitely did some permanent damage though. Would so love to see them again. Can't believe they are going on tour with Foo Fighters.
