OFFLINE | These comments are mixed in 2 differents threads, so I decided to create one so we can discuss.
Well, I must say I'm disappointed with this.
There were some cool things on this update like you can buy items with Silk too (that helps me a lot =P). But the hour limit ruins the fun.
To me it's a hidden 3-hour limit anyway, and an extension of OBT...
Explaining why: Nothing really new, even eggs or maps (only Salamon but I can't see her in the cash shop yet). Thus the limit... the biggest problem with it is that sometimes you want to play with your friends and you have to do a schedule, otherwise it's "Sorry bud, I can't receive anymore exp today".
Now we can sell items 24h, cool, but I'll answer it with the best quote I've seen today xD
Originally Posted by Alexander Dekens: i know you can now put you char to sell 24 hours but this game is called digimon masters online and not digimon merchant
I'm not being a hater, I won't give up the game just yet. But if you don't want players to be the highest level possible, do something about the exp received at later levels then. And don't limit everybody. Or extend to 6 hours, something like that. |

OFFLINE | Soon you can buy exp boosting items. Basically this mean you can counter timelimit with money. They say they care about your health. Truth is, they care about your money. Free game for the first 3 hours a day, after that it is pay to play.
Funny thing is that I have said this all along. I said that they were going to make us pay real cash for more game time and that is exactly what happened. People were shouting at me that I am wrong and Joymax would never do that because it would kill the game. Now all these joymax suck-upps are still satisfied with this game? ROFL |

OFFLINE | Where exactly are these 'cash shop items' that give us more time?
They don't exist. So stop thinking you're right. |

OFFLINE | It's a bit ridiculous for them to "beat" around the bush essentially.
Joymax: They must really hate the time limit! So instead of reverting to how it originally was supposed to be, logging on for three hours, getting disconnected and then logging back in with no issue, let's let them play for a max of 5 hours, after 3 hours no longer give them EXP and Drops so they will stop playing because getting a new server online is to complicated. People will just stop playing!
Nothing was really done with this update. They "covered" up the time limit by making it seem like it was removed but in actuality it wasn't. And they added all of these event items to cover up the fact that they haven't removed the level cap, and uploaded the rest of the game so we can continue with our quests and explore the other maps.
So best thing to do now is nothing. Just sit around and wait to see when the new quests and maps will be uploaded. There's no point in wasting your Mits and such on eggs when there is no guarantee that they will hatch. |

OFFLINE | I understand the people who are defending them by saying it isn't easy to open servers and content and what not, but remember how they extended the beta by two weeks? If you extend the beta it's usually because you need more time to release the full game. But they didn't even do that. They just added a few events and graphics to the DATS center. That's all. I also know that they have 4 other games they're working on and have to update, but DMO is already up, whereas only 1 of those 4 others are playable. Focus on the already playable games then work on those other three. But whatever. I'll just work a bit each day for my 140 pumpkins, get a Salamon (hopefully) and get her to 46. By that time there's no way they wouldn't add more content is there?
I'm starting to think otherwise... |

OFFLINE | The pumpkins are just a way to get people to be quiet and collect them so they can get the Merc eggs. It's ridiculous.
Sadly it's the only way I'm gonna play as well. I'm not giving them my money right now, but I want an Impmon egg. So, I'll collect the stupid pumpkins.
It's still ridiculous that only new members get access to some of the certain event items, we got cheated out of a few as well when OBT launched because of the time limit. |

OFFLINE | David, They are called "amplification boosters". Currently, they have been only event items but they are going to sell them. Stop circulating around this because you know I am right. You just don't wan't me to be because this is disgusting on their part, hell I don't wan't to be right but we both know I am.
Soon you can buy xp boosting items under this tab->item mall->tamer->exp
currently, exp tab is empty but why would there even be exp tab if they would't add any items in there? Proof enough for me, I rest my case.
After 3 hours training becomes pointless because of the HUGE drop in xp. Soon you can counter this with real money by buying xp boosting items. To me this is selling more game time. |

OFFLINE | New content is going to take time. Joymax does nothing dev wise on the game. They can't. The devs that made DMO do that. So Joymax needs to make a list of what's wrong and what not, send the files, and wait for the fixes, test the game, and see if everything is working correctly. Not everything will be in place as asked due to issues, and the time it takes for this could be a month or more if you add in localization. |

OFFLINE | Dylan, you're right. And on top of that, the devs can't immediately make changes because they also have to get the approval from Bandai, and it does take a while for everything to be approved. This is the reason why majority of the updates couldn't be given within a short period of time. |

Bah, I forgot about Bandai.
For those confused, Bandai owns the Digimon franchise, so Joymax needs to send stuff to the Devs of DMO to change things, Joymax then needs to localize it/report any bugs that show up, the devs of DMO need to get the approval of Bandai to add or change anything in the game tho.
So, it could be awhile until we get some new content.
