OFFLINE | I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant with #6 and planning for a VBAC (#5 was a c/s due to being breech). I've read that Clary Sage oil can be helpful to keep contractions going once they start, and since I've had lots of "start and stop" labor with my other babies, I'm interested in trying it. My main concern is whether it's considered safe for a VBAC since there's an increased risk of uterine rupture there. Does Clary Sage do anything to the uterus that could be harmful? By the way, I wouldn't be using it till close to the due date, but I'm just trying to decide if I should have some around. Thanks! |
