Clairaudience is similar to clairvoyance, only with sound. It is not just restricted to voices, it can also be just a simple sound or even vibrational like a song or hum. When receiving a message clairaudiently, it will be very much like an inner dialogue or recalling something you have heard before. Most of the time one will find it very difficult to discern their own thoughts with the messages they are receiving, which is similar to that of an empath with feeling others emotions. One must remember that this is not in anyway connected to you, but it is passing through you.. just like a telephone receiver. The difference between clairaudience and telepathy is you are receiving messages and not hearing others thoughts, wants, or needs.. this is very much an audible version of a clairvoyant's visions.
