OFFLINE | After listening to Tuesday's Bombers game, I had to get this out of me:
The whole game, the whole game, was full of commercials!
I could hardly tell there was a game going on.
Play-by play was choppy and I couldn't even tell who had possession of the ball...
Is this the end of CJOB? Is this the end of Manitoba's most informative radio station?
What do you think? Any comments about CJOB? (good or bad)
Also, any news about why Hal Anderson isn't part of CJOB anymore? |

OFFLINE | Have you not listened to CJOB other than the game?
I quit listening to CJOB years ago because it was 90% commercials and 10% "whatever is left"
They shouldn't call themselves talk radio, they should call themselves commercial radio. |

OFFLINE | I miss Peter Warren. I'm probably the only one. |

OFFLINE | Peter Warren always got to the roots of things, did his job. It seemed like Hal didn't like his skit at CJOB though. They barely let him speak. Wheeler and Hal was alot better, spontaneous and fun. |

OFFLINE | The only time I listened to CJOB in recent memory was last summer, when the power was out in our area and I wanted to hear an official announcement (which, to their credit, they provided within 15 minutes).
I used to listen to them more regularily years ago when they rebroadcasted the Art Bell Show/Coast to Coast AM, whenever I needed to feel better about myself |

OFFLINE | Was it the one that sounded like a simulated bird song? |

OFFLINE | I used to hear it on other radio stations into the early 90s. Probably a stock effect in some sound boards. |
