Chile Verde with pork by Tom Pardikes

awesome green chili!

Tom Pardikes

2 1/2 lbs pork shoulder cubed
14 oz can chicken broth
1 cup diced sweet onion
10 oz can enchilada sauce
16 oz jar salsa verde
1/2 green bell pepper
2 1/2 tbsp chicken base
4- 6 oz cans
diced green chilis
2 tbsp cumin
1 tsp mexican oregano
1 tsp celery salt
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 chopped jalapena
1 tbsp granulated garlic
2 tbsp green chili powder (avail from online spice companys)

brown pork and drain. add all spices and 1/2 amount of green chilis. simmer for 2 hrs or till meat tender. add remaining chilis with and simmer 15 minutes more. salt and pepper to taste. can add other hotter peppers for desired heat factor. enjoy!!!!!
