this is the way i was my mom made her chili verde she is from los cruces nm 1lb of your choice of3 meat. pork chops,lean ground beef, or top sirloin, top round. 1 small brown onion chopped, 2 red tomatoes choped 1 cup diced green chili 3 garlic cloves smashed, sprinkle garlic salt.1 tsp reg salt.sprinkle pepper to taste. pinch of ground cumino 2 tbls lard, 2tsp flower worchestershire sause n1 qt water,...first add lard n meat cook until color has changed from red to brown add garlic salt n worcestershire sause n sprinkle some pepper on meet then add garlic cloves n diced onion cook until onion is transparent. add diced tomato n 1 cup roasted green chili cook for alittle to release flavor then add flower lightly brown then add i qt water n the rest of seasoning 1tsp salt, sprinkle alittle more pepper, a pinch of cumino bring to a boil then turn down flame to a simmer for around 20to 30 min n enjoy with refried bean, potatoes, rice,fideo, |
