I have also put a new twist on those grilled Brats we love. I posted a comment on a place that sells green chile Brats in AZ but for those of too far this is how I was inspired.
Any Brats will work, personally I love the cheeses ones. As they are grilling I get one of those bags of dry coleslaw cabbage mix. I wrap it in foil with a teaspoon of butter and add diced green chile and throw it on the grill alongside the Brats. I cook the cabbage enough to where it still has it's crunch, not to soggy. When the Brats are done I put it in a bun or plain or in a tortilla and top it off with the cabbage and green chile mix . |
