1. Place a chest on the ground.
2. Place a sign against the wall above the chest.
3. On the sign use the following format for the 4 lines:

Format:
Shop Owners name
Quanity of item
Price B(uy) or S(ell)
Product Name or ID

• The product ID is a number that is assigned to all items in minecraft. A quick way to get the number is to look at this image: http://media-mcw.cursecdn.com/8/8c/DataValuesBeta.png
• For instance number 3 is dirt. Yet if you look at the wood values you will see wood is number 5 but each type of wood has a smaller number. On a sign it would look like this 5:0 for oak. 5:1 for Birch and so on.

• This means that you can buy 4 cookies for $20 from D3Exile.

An example of how a shop can be set up. The chest is set one block below the ground however the sign is still on the wall above the chest. A picture frame is above that with the item that is being sold. This makes it easier for shoppers to see the items.
