Teammates
-Throughout the game you have the option to travel through the events alone or you could recruit a team or join a faction. You could also hire different characters for different jobs/missions almost mercenary style. So at the end of the game you could finish solo or possibly as the head of a powerful faction.

Scavenging
-since this is in a post apocalyptic world, you get what you need however possible. This also includes taking most to all items off of enemies you kill.

Yes, you will be able to join the NWC and journey through as a government soldier. Also, yes there will be an "ending" to the game, you will however be able to go back and finish any side missions not essential to the plot after this ending.

Plot Essential characters

There are a multitude of Non Player Controlled characters that your character can interact with throughout the game. Now the main character will more than likely start off alone or with no "friends". There may even be one or two base friends your character starts out with. Now throughout your travels within the game you will obviously interact with many different characters. These people may be ordinary citizens, they could be soldiers for the government, they could be rebels, mercs, in a  gang, etc.  With each of these characters you will have the opportunity to build relationships with them and gain their trust. Then again you could choose not to have any allies at all and be sort of a lone wolf. These allies would be powerful assets in the game, they could help you out on missions, get supplies for you, and they would give you good in game advice. Who knows if you are close enough friends and you want to switch sides during the game, they may come with you. You could also ruin relationships with these close characters by switching sides and that would have in game consequences as well. These characters will be on all different sides and who knows if you are on the opposite side, they might become a plot essential enemy to you then.

NPC to NPC interactions

Within Project Renegade, there is this driving force of a character's reputation and personality creating unique main character to NPC interactions. These forces will also extend to NPC to NPC interaction. This will create a more dynamic atmosphere for the characters that the player encounters throughout the game. With the game able to progress parts of the story line along without direct user input, different circumstances can arise for NPC's to interact with each other. This will be based upon the NPC's pre-programmed disposition as well as what "mood" they are in as to how they will react to seeing or meeting other NPC's. This will open up different dialog options as well as story line events.
