OFFLINE | Main Characters are customizable between male and female and their appearance and clothes are modifiable.
Different clothing is able to be found to customize the look of your character.
As noted above, the clothes you wear and how you look have an impact on your reputation.

OFFLINE | Characters interlacing with reputation
Your character's appearance will factor into his/her reputation. We form our initial impressions about people based on their appearance. Are they attractive? are they intimidating? do we want to befriend them? do we want to stay away from them? These are all thoughts that run through our heads in real life and this is what will be running through the Non player controlled characters' minds as they meet your character. When you walk into an area which youve never been to before, then the NPCs will perform different actions based on how you look if they have no idea who you are. If you are muscular, have a ton of scars on your face, and are strapped with weapons everywhere then the NPCs might stay away from you or would be suspicious why you are in their town or they might even attack you. Conversely if you are an attractive female character, some NPCs will not take you seriously as a fighter until you prove yourself to them or you can prove your reputation. However, as you progress throughout the game your overall reputation will outweigh your appearance and youll be able to break out of your "stereotype" since your overall reputation will have spread farther than you traveled. |

 OFFLINE | Possible menu
There needs to be a way to manage and use all the skills and abilities you will have as the main character. One possible means of accomplishing this is to have a basic profile outline of your body as an interface. off to the side of this profile will be several menu buttons with the different skills you have and the different actions you want your body to perform. you would click on each menu item and the different actions your character would performa and the buttons they are assigned to are then displayed on their corresponding body part. Let us say that one menu is your combat actions, during combat you might want to set a button as a quick draw to your pistol, this would be mapped to your arm with the button you assigned it to under the combat actions profile on your character. Also let us say that you are simply walking around and you have your character set on his day to day interactions profile but you want to be prepared just in case there is trouble. you would be able to set a hotkey in that profile which would automatically shift your characters actions to the combat profile and you could win the battle. Once the conflict was over, your character would go back to the profile you were using previously. |

 OFFLINE | HUD
The heads up display, we have pretty much decided that we want this in a first person view to conserve the realism that we are striving for. This means that there needs to be heads up display which corresponds with your head and face. When the game starts out you are just a regular person. In real life people do not have status indicators in front of their eyes. However if you run across a Helmet(most likely NWC) with the capabilities for a HUD then your screen would be updated with each of the systems that helmet monitors. However if you take off or lose that helmet then you lose the different HUD options and are back to the regular human view. You will also be able to see what you are holding in your arms/hands if this includes a gun then the aiming reticle will appear on your screen or you can use the sights or the scope on it. There will not be a health meter on your HUD, a more dynamic health notification system will be implemented. |

 OFFLINE | Kinematics
Your character will operate and function as a normal human being. Let us say that this is one of the first times your character has held a weapon, this will be apparent in your ability to aim your weapon. The reticle will be shaky and only through repeated operation will you be able to increase your ability to aim. Even when your character is an expert marksman your reticle will not be 100% stationary. A human being breathes and with each rising and falling of his breath the reticle will move slightly. This is also going to be true when hes starting to understand how to operate machinery or at a basic level at a screen. Youll be able to experience the novice ability as well as see it in your character. |
