OFFLINE | I do like the droids. The one that was demonstrated to me had an 8mp camera which very much impressed me, not including all the graphics. And if I didn't have a couples PCs already, I'd gotten it in a heart beat, because that's practically what it is, a PC. Everyone I know who has one loves them. |

OFFLINE | I've had AT&T for years, I've moved around a lot and at one time it was difficult to move service (not like it is now)....never had issue's with them....
LOVE my iPhone...use it for EVERYTHING....email, FB (use to MS) ....it's my connection to the world when I'm out and about and traveling everywhere.....
didn't like the touch screen at first, but once I got use to it...no biggie...
play games on it with my kid's...watch movies, watch TV shows while on the treadmill...have all my music on there no need for an iPod anymore.... |

Great feedback and it get's me kinda excited (Imma geek)

OFFLINE | I got effed over by Verizon...TWICE! Needless to say, they will NEVER get another dime from me, don't care how their plans or phones are! I am with TMobile & I love their service. They have some great phones also. They also have good family plans, I know because that's what I have. I also had more dropped calls in the 1 year I was with Verizon than I've had in the almost 10 years I've been with TMobile. I know a lotta people love Verizon, but I had nothing but trouble the whole time I was with them, their customer service was awful too. |

it all depends.. we used to have another service before we had Verizon and they (no longer in business) would screw up our bill constantly..and customer service was horrible.. as far as verizon goes..i dont really like going into the stores to get anything done.. the wait for service can take sometimes over an hour where i live.. and they arent always the nicest people.. but the 800 # i have had decent service.. i dont like tho ..that there are virtually no phones left without a data package these days.. forcing people that dont use internet to buy it.. i think that's wrong.. hopefully soon they will let us merge data plans thru out the home..and pay one price.. with discounts like they have for minutes... |

OFFLINE | I just use a cheap TracFone. There are many times when I'm too far out for much 3G coverage anyways. Like Verizon 3G coverage hits the ranch..but AT&T doesn't. Last summer, in Alaska, I had several co-workers pissed at their Droids and iphones because all talk/text and my $9 beater worked just as well. And where I was the summer before you had to go 5 miles west, or 15 miles east to get a signal of any kind.
Had that $9 phone for almost 4 years now...but just broke down at bought another...amazed that I'll pay $25 for a phone... |

OFFLINE | I recently experienced a strange Sound Problem on my LG VX9900 enV Silver (barely 2 weeks old) right after turning it on. There were no sounds from the phone’s earpiece during a call, or from its front & back keypads, or while playing games. It worked fine night before when I charged it, and I hadn’t changed any settings.
I could adjust the volume with the side keys and press ‘play’ in the menu and the Test Volume function sounded fine. I also tested the Record Sound function and it appeared to be recording, but no sound when playing the file back.
I called my enV from another phone and there was no sound in the enV’s ear piece, and nothing transmitted through its speaker piece.
After that, to see what would happen, I plugged in the phone’s charger and as soon as I did that, all the sounds immediately started working properly.
Ok, that’s odd I thought. So I started Googling (Googling?) around and found that others experienced similar problems. One response suggested that the phone got stuck in “Earpiece” mode. Their instructions were to plug in the Earpiece, make a call, and when the call connects, then disconnect the Earpiece and that should fix the sound problem.
Well that just kinda blows me away. I did email LG Customer Support and all they said was to send them the phone for repair. Anyone experience anything like this with their cell phones?
And regarding Verizon taking on the iPhone 4, does that really just mean that Verizon is expanding largely on their Tech Support staff? |

 OFFLINE | Been with T-Mobile forever ...
Went to an android, the MyTouch Slide and could just never get used to it after being a BlackBerry user for years.
I tried and tried but eventually went back to the BlackBerry ... especially since it work better with my office interface when I'm on call.
I'll have to say though, T-Mobiles customer service is slipping a bit in the last several months. Hold times very aggravating. |

OFFLINE | I've often heard good things about the Black Berries. But my wide thumbs can't seem to press just one button at a time. On my LG enV, the inside QWERTY keypad spacing is fine, but it's very much an outdated phone now. In that line of LG phones, the Octane seems to be their primary successor, and I've heard about so many problems with them (not surprising anymore). But so many people I talk to about cell phones say that they favor their older phones over the new tech. Thus far, my LG8300 (a dinosaur by today's standards) has proven to be my most reliable phone. |

Finally got the new cell ... a LG Vortex (Verizon, android)
They're running a BOGO on them right now.
Whoa! A lot's changed since the last time I got a cell. I'm impressed. Really impressed.
