I’m a bit behind the times on today’s newest cell phone technologies. So what are some of your favorite Aps and what do they do for you?

FACEBOOK of course!  LOL  I also play games with my kiddo's ...I use one for American Airlines when I travel that is awesome...Siri, it looks up ANYTHING by voice or text...I have a Grocery list App I use for shopping...no more paper list...It becomes quite addictive....

I'd be using the Grocery List Constantly! As it is with my phone, I text myself my grocery list and it's a bit of a pain when I need to add more and more items to it, so I'm kinda diggin that ap!

Verizon has a really cool application called "Song ID". If you're listening to a new song and you don't know the name of it, with this ap, it will  listen to the song and tell you the Song Name and Recording Artist!

I kinda like the x-ray picture thingy.

On the upside, it's better than those glasses they used to advertise in the comic books when I was a kid.

On the downside, it won't help you see Avatar in 3-d.

I've recently gone back to Blackberry and not loaded up on apps quite yet but one of my favs on my 'droid was a barcode scanner.  See an item at the store and scan it, you can then actually research it right there, find best price in yur city, do comparisons, etc ... found it very useful.

Google's got an app that's supposed to translate speech into another language in real time.

I don't need it (unless I go to Miami).  But it could be uber usefull for those who do.
