As I stated before I have allergies to their dander but I never turn a cat away from my property. I have several cats that have adopted me. I never feed them but I do leave water available.

I know someone would read that I don't feed them and think I am cruel but I to that for a reason. I let the cats run over my entire property outdoors, they help keep the mice, wild rabbits and blackbirds down on my property. I did have a problem with mice when I first moved in but since the cats adopted me I have had no problems. Between the cats outside and the dog inside, I have seen one mouse in the last 2 years. Good record.

So even if you have animal allergies it is good to have cats around saves on buying poisons to get rid of the mice and saves on putting extra fencing around your garden to save it from rabbits and birds.
