The fan game fighter Card Saga wars by Ahuron and Orkmides hasn't seen any updates in nearly a year. I got so pumped since I've caught it a few years back, but I haven't seen anything new, either on the site or Youtube. Does anyone know the situation?

I heard somewhere that they canceled the demo so that their sprites won't be stolen, that's understandable, but it seems like they've given up on the project.

It's not uncommon that a game won't make it past the demo version. Card Sagas Wars is no different. It was a fan-made 16-bit console-based game. I played it once. I personally did not like it. It's based off of MUGEN. MUGEN's latest release was 1.0 RC8 / July 5th, 2009. I'm not sure why the game is slowly vanishing. It could be because 16-bit games are a thing of the past, or it could be another underlying cause.
