Can Vitamin D Supplements alter Parathyroid test outcomes?

I have been Vitamin D deficient for some time.  Only recently have tests been run to check my Parathyroid Hormone (Intact) with it currently being 106 but my calcium levels seem to be ok.  I have been on 50.000 vitamin D one week and 100000 alternating weeks.  Ever so recently, I've been put on 100000 weekly. However, reading the parathyroid website and reading this forum on Vitamin D deficiency makes me feel this is the wrong way to go.  Thoughts?
