Cain says Obama impeachment would be 'a great thing'
By: CNN Political Unit

(CNN) – Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said it would be "great" to impeach the president, but that the Democratic controlled Senate would prevent such action.

On a conference call with bloggers Tuesday night, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO called the health care law and the Obama administration's stance over the Defense of Marriage Act impeachable offenses.

The news was first reported by POLITICO and later confirmed to CNN by the Cain campaign.
"There are a number of things where a case could be made in order to impeach him, but because Republicans do not control the United States Senate, they would never allow it to get off the ground," Cain said on the call. "The president is supposed to uphold the laws of this nation … and to tell the Department of Justice not to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act is a breach of his oath."

Impeachment? Really? Is he serious about this or is he just trying to out-crazy the other candidates in the hope that the fringe will like him more and vote for him?

Some of the things Cain says worry me, but I think they're all just to score points with those to who believe rational discourse is unpatriotic.

I quit listening to him shortly after his announcement. He had my interest at first, but as I learned about him, he became more unsavory.

The main question though is, what are his pizzas like? We have a Godfather's pizza chain over here in Ireland, but I think it's a different one, is a local chain as it has a diff logo & menu I think.

If he promised chocolate pizzas for all citizens, it would be worth voting for him. The rest of their pizzas are just average.

Chocolate pizzas are just wrong. One of my flatmates tried to make one one time, is a bad combination. Good if you're having a bit of a smoke and get the munchies, bad otherwise.

I may not be a Godly man, but to say anything bad about chocolate is akin to heresy.
