I see a new butterfly fish task has been added for purchasing different ones. I already have a copperband butterfly fish in my tank from before the task was added, but it is showing that I am at 0/3? Thanks.

Unfortunately, no fish purchased before the task came into being will count towards the task. If that were the case many long time players would be finished with the task the moment it was added. You must start from scratch with each new task added to the list of achievements.
