I am an anesthesiologist in Long Island (Prohealth Ambulatory Surgical Center) and have attended various of your regional anesthesia lectures at the PGA.  I'm in need of documentation of the widespread use of buprenorphine for the prolongation of brachial plexus blocks.  Do you use it in your institurion?  If you do, what kind of "committe" process did it have to go through (since it is "off label")?
