Who should bump your items?
  • YOU SHOULD! If you want your item to sell then the responsibility for bumping lays entirely withYOU!
  • It is NOT, and never will be Admin's role to bump your items! We do so as a favour, because we want to help those who are unable to find their own. However it is very clear that many people either assume only admin is allowed to bump, or that they simply don't want to do it for themselves so they "ask" admin to do it for them. Except that a large percentage of the time members do notASK, but DEMAND, and when it isn't done they kick off..... WE aren't selling your items.... YOUare selling your items!

What is bumping?
  • BUMP is a word which is used to push an item to the top of the group so that it will be seen again. However any comment will do the same job.
  • Your comment is classed as a bump if it is there for the sole purpose of pushing the item to the top of the group page. No matter whether it says bump, or is a new comment by the seller, if it is not a direct response to a buyer question then it is likely to be classed as a bump.
  • You are permitted to bump your item 5 times each per 24 hour period, and do not bump any more than 5 items at once, leaving at least 10 minutes before you bump another 5.

How can you find your own items?
  • If you use a computer, look to the top right of the page and you will see a magnifying glass icon. Click that icon and it will give you a search box which you can type your name into to bring up a list of items you have commented on or posted.
  • If you use a mobile device, as soon as you list a new item, view it, then bookmark the page onto your mobile browser! If you do not know how to bookmark via your specific device please do a google search which will bring up something along the lines of this one for the iPhone...http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-bookmark-web-sites-on-your-iphone.html
  • Via Timeline, On your mobile device or on the Computer: Go to your own personal profile. At the top you will see thumbnails for "friends", "photos" etc. Drag these as far to the left as you can in order to find "Activity Feed". This lists all of your recent facebook activity and makes finding your items/comments in groups much quicker if you cannot access the search function and forgot to bookmark your item.
  • PHOTO ALBUMS are an easy way to find all of your items at once! They can only be created via a computer, but they can be viewed via any device! If you have multiple items to sell we suggest you put them together in one photo album and then 1 simple search will bring up every single item. You may also add further items to these albums again later!
  • To find your photo album on a computer, use the search function as described above, or click the "Photos" tab at the top of the screen.
  • To Find your photo album via a mobile device, go to the group's main wall and click the banner at the top where the group name is. You will then see further options and you need to choose the one which says photos. This will then list all the photo albums, with a thumbnail and name for each. The newest will be at the top. If you have renamed your album when you created it this will make finding yours easier.
