OFFLINE | Really depends on what your personal needs are here is just a little info. The Phenom is an automag based design while the BT TM15 is pretty much an invert mini platform in a scenario shell. They both shoot smooth and quiet. Both of them are not bad on air either although the Phenom might be just a little bit more less air efficient then the BT TM15. They both regulate air so that's always a good thing. Another thing you have to consider is whether you like to customize your gear. I think Tippmann has more options for you to customize the gun the way you want it to be. BT TM15 not so much I mean you can put optics and cool gadgets on it but you really can't change the shroud and the stocks. Keep in mind also that they have a different feeding system. The BT uses a ripclip which pretty much acts like a halo hopper system requiring batteries but the Phenom uses the cyclone which uses air thus again making it a little less efficient. Maintenance is pretty easy on both of them and they really don't have that many issues. Another thing to consider is the board. The board is going to be different on both of them. I believe that (correct me if I'm wrong) BT TM15 comes with more programmable options then the phenon stock. You can get a upgraded board for the Phenom though. All in all I use to own a phenom and I did use a BT TM15 at a field once for half a game. There both not bad guns, it just really depends on your personal preference and what you like. Personally I would gone with the BT TM15 just cause it's more based on a speedball internal platform( I'm not saying that the automag is bad for speedball I would just rather use a straight up automag or E-mag then the phenom)again there not bad markers it's really what your looking for in a marker. Hope this helps |
