Great show. I think it has the potential to be quite popular for audiences who like the Sopranos, Like ol' time roaring 20's gangsters etc.
Beautifully filmed - very detailed sets, costumes. Good writing - character development.
I re-watched ep 1 and really caught more character detail. Jimmy is the hot head ( he reminds me of how Cagney would have played that part ) he appears cool on the outside but a ruthless killer with a desire to climb the ladder. Should be an interesting struggle within him as the FBI has approached him to use his talent for the 'good' side. His struggle will be since he is broken from the war which side to choose. |

OFFLINE | We watched the first episode a second time right away, because the first time around we were so enthralled with the imagery... the sets and costumes are amazing, but the story and character development are also top-notch. Great new show! |
