OFFLINE | The only band I dig on from that list is Negura Bunget. I like what I've heard from one album from Peste Noire and one song besides that, otherwise I don't really care for them. The rest of the bands didn't really strike me when I've previously checked them out (though I've never heard Impavida so I'll get to that). From what I know of you though, Rob, I think we have a bit of different tastes, which is cool. I'm sure every once in a while you're bound to throw out a band that'll wallop me like a bat to the head, and hopefully likewise I you. |

OFFLINE | In response to Brandon, I totally understand.. as for BM in general I have to say that I happen to like all forms of it myself from the nihilistic side to the depressive side all the way to progressive and ambient side of it as well. It just depends on the band for me. Btw, in regards to Impavida do give that band a listen for its some of the most eerie and creepy sounding black metal I ever listened to. Granted others might have a different take on that band but to me they sound like an entire Silent Hill game soundtrack (that is if you've played that video game before). Some of the most bizarre and enigmatic stuff I ever encountered. |
