It amazes me how some bicyclers will zoom right through red lights.  I know that locals do this, too, but it looks like a pretty common thing among those on rental bikes.  With all the tourist pedestrians walking against the light, and a lot of drivers speeding to beat the lights, any biker who doesn't wait their turn is taking their lives into their own hands...

Agreed! When I jump a light, I do so at my own risk. I look both ways twice and then I look all 4 ways to check for police cars. Then I look both ways again and maybe I will go. By that time, it's usually green, though.

I follow the rules but had a lady pass a parked delivery truck on duval and came straight at me. I had to jump a curb. People were yelling at her and many people checked to see if I was ok. It is getting dangerous.
