OFFLINE | It's painful to see that people are including iPhone as a console. Disgusting, in my opinion. If I had to choose a console from before the 2007 - 2010 time frame, It'd have to be the new Xbox 360 Slim. Simply because it offers more than the original, and because I've been playing Xbox Live for almost three years.
Microsoft and Xbox have really upped their game with the 250GB Hard Drive, Wifi connectivity, and the new Kinect feature. It essentially redefines gaming.

OFFLINE | The PS3 is the strongest console hardware-wise,no contest, It can run any and all games the xbox 360 can run but xbox 360 can't run all ps3 games, ps3,along with the pc, is the only thing that can run 50 GB blu-ray disks up till now.
Guys, you do know we are asking "best console?" and not "best console games?",right?
PS3's only disadvantage is price,but we are saying "best console" not "best choice to buy." or something like that.
Eventually I think PC's eventually going to have even further hardware improvements making it better than the ps3(but most probably by then there'll be the ps4,and maybe the next xbox and whatever it is nintendo will make next.)
I expected to hear things like ps2,wii and xbox360 but ps1?, no offense but you should at least know that some ps2's can play the ps1 games,right?I know the ps1 games may be better but the ps1 itself isn't.
