Eating Fresh Pineapples..........

1.  Pineapples provides a high amount of patassium which controls heart rate and blood pressure.

2.  Pineapples provides a good source of dietary fiber which women need to consume more of as we age.

3.  Eating pineapples help lose weight with the no saturated fat and cholesterol.

4.  With a regular consumption we are protected from diseases like cancers (lung and breast), diabetes and heart diseases which is the number one killer among women today.

5.  Our immune system gets boosted protecting us from infectious diseases.

I drink Pineapple juice every day. I wonder how much less nutritional that is from eating whole pineapples?

Hi Shawn, actually drinking pineapple juice from the can or bottle does not give you the same results as drinking the juice from the fresh pineapples.

Hi Sherry, I was afraid of that. I lived in Hawaii many years ago and often had freshly picked pineapple right from the field. When I left Hawaii, I'd occasionally get a pineapple but here they just didn't taste as good as Hawaiian freshly picked and I ended up liking the juice better. But learning this, maybe I'll reconsider, thanks
