Some people I have met along the way are still defining for themselves their beliefs about "life, the universe and everything." Beliefs can be fluid based on new experiences and new information.  So, let's take a different approach.  Instead of answering the question, "What do you believe?", answer this one, "What do you value?"

I value my Soul, Friendship, Humanity, Family, and have a Relationship with Goodness (Philisophical, Ethical, plausable Theological).

Soul. Despite all definitions, it would have to be atleast a Measure of Character. Example "My what a very good soul you are."

Friendship. Being a friend and becoming a friend to someone is an involuntary notion meaning that you really like and trust one another. People may be stuck with family but a friend is someone of your choosing.

Family. Well, the support to be in and or start your own family is something that most want. Starting a family is essental to keeping up population.

Humanity. Do we really want to see others always down on their luck? We should help each other out. Little things can make a big difference to the poor and over burden.

Relationship with Goodness. Well, by this, instead of just following rules to show that you are good; allow a Moral Code of personal choice or choosing to be a life you seek after. You can show it and you can live it as it shows in you.

well, I think beliefs affects the way people think and value .... so as a Muslim, I value my relation with God since it controls every thing I do. I love my parents and do my best to pleas them ,treat people well, help others , study hard , even having this discussion .... it's all coming out of my belief that God is rewarding me for every good thing I do,this makes life easier and makes me value all good things without specifying some.

Also, beliefs are not really fuzzy, may be thinking more and more about them and having the intention to know the truth will make every thing clear.
For example some people doesn't believe in God at all !! not belonging to any religion , if thinking generally its hard to live alone in life without believing in someone stronger than u, helping u, guiding u, encouraging u, showing u the way.Actually it is hard 4 me to realize how non- believers feel ....

If u know please tell me !
