Hello all, I thought I would put it out there that I would consider hosting another Beach Party, even though no one came last year.  Last year would have been our fifth consecutive year.  If anyone is interested, please let me know and I can begin to plan for it by picking a date that is convenient for as many people as I can.  While I will check this posting, if you are interested, send me a direct message as well as posting here.  If I don't get any takers and a get together does not happen then this will be the last year I offer to do this.

As many of you know, our past gatherings have been great and we have always truly had a BLAST.   I have always loved everyone coming down and meeting everyone who I have met thus far.

As in the past, it would be held in Rockaway Beach, NY.  Would be scheduled for a Saturday and would go for the entire day.  It is a BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything) party.  Pizza can be ordered during the day with delivery down to us at the beach.

I'M READY IF ANYONE ELSE IS...  Look forward to hearing from you all.

Joie....looking outside at the snow falling...certainly makes me yearn for the beach!!!!  Not really sure IF I can do it this summer....my daughter is going to study abroad in Costa Rica..... so probably a lot of the funds will go that way.  I will certainly keep it in mind, though, and consider it...as it gets closer

Why not post it as an event on your page so that more will likely see this.

I know that a lot of my friends have the Forum app but do not really come in here and I'm sure the same probably goes for yours.

I feel the same way Jann ... but at this point with a couple trips already planned ... and a July wedding out of town ... no way I could commit.  If I did show, it would be an absolute spur of the moment deal.

I am HOIPING to do a road trip this summer.... I mAY be able to work this in!  Waiting to hear some dates from some other friends....
