Two old families are in constant war between each other. Hate is plant deep into their hearts. The extermination of the one family means prosper for the other. The family of Alexander has power to rule over the entire vampire nation. Under their rule nobody knows words as: war, betrayal, disloyalty. There are no wars to pose any reason for those words to be learned. There is peace between every race. Vampires are coexisting with werewolves, even sometimes living together. D’Angelis doesn’t like this. Coexisting with werewolves is considered betrayal to their race. Marcus wants to change the way how things happen. He wants to have the power over all. The only way for him to achieve that is to eliminate every member of the ruling family. This is the start of the rivalry between them. Some hundred years later almost every member of Alexander’s is dead. The only living members of that family are Dante and his sister Dahlia which is missing at this point.

For more than 500 years Dante is chased like a dog. Marcus and his mercenaries are trying to kill him. He is the one constantly chased, never resting, always running. Finally he manages to escape his executors and to free himself from them. Three hundred years after that he is awaken again and is bending on revenge on those who destroyed his family. Alexa and Michael are unaware of the changes that are about to happen. From the last 400 years The Elders are asleep, no one can awaken them. Their family’s rule is unchallenged. Werewolves are hunted and killed the same way as vampires.  Hate is planted deep in the hearts of the two races causing them to fight one another.

In the meantime humans started to hunt werewolves and vampires. The old ways are set again in motion. New Hunters are trained and set to work. Dante returns only to find out how bad the things are. Alexa hate’s him. She doesn’t know why but since her father despise him – she despises him too. Alexa must learn the truth and learn to trust her worst enemy. The faith of the world they now depend on her trust in the man that she hates and loves at the same time. Dante must let his hate and distrust toward Alexa go. He must learn to show his feelings and put trust in other if he wants others to trust him.

The only chance for success in saving to world and the love that is hidden is for The Elders to awaken and for the assassins to be released. In the meantime on forbidden love is blooming between four people. Michael is in love with Dante’s sister and in the same time is forced by his father to hunt her down. If she resist – kill her, otherwise – he has to bring her to him.



Michael is torn between his love and his duty toward his family and blood. The decisions are hard to make. The outcome is unpredictable. Dante attempts to murder Alexa's father. At the very verge of success he is forced to step back and postpone the death of Marcus. Alexa has injured him really bad with the one think that can actually hurt him and kill him. He must retreat and rejuvenate to his full strength.

The new generation of Hunters begins to expand and now they are targeting not only non-human beings but also humans. "Whoever is not with us, is against us and with them" Marcus is forced to stop and alter his plans of destroying Dante and his remaining siblings. Now he must focus on the Hunters. "Whoever is against the Hunters we will protect." So he starts a campaign to save the targeted humans. His attempt, thought, are unsuccessful. His family can't do it on it's own. Even against his will and knowledge his own wife goes to Dante and ask him to help. Dante grabs the opportunity.The two families must work together.

Except the task of eliminating the Hunters they must find a way to awaken the Elders. The Elders are number of old - born vampires, as Dante, which are the political strength. The vampires may have their kings and queens but even the queens and kings can't go against the word of an Elder. They are the ultimate power.
