CALLING ALL ASTROLOGERS especially ((((((Celt)))))) since you make the conventions faithfully,,, and ((((((((Metafizzer)))))))) since you are pretty SMART~
Something that REALLY BOTHERS me and has for 18 years since my first grandson was born: I do not know if other states do this but WISCONSIN stopped putting birth times on the birth certificates. I have often wondered why Astrologers did not kick up a huge, HUGE fuss? Here in Wisconsin that means 18 yrs and goodness knows how many more than than actually ~ at least I'd bet a good HALF of those born will not know for sure what time they are born. Astrologers do use 'SOLAR" charts for the day of birth, but it's like trying to read with foggy glasses © Patricia Lite Hickman 12/30/2011 :::

Kevin Kiernan I am surprised that they don;t make a record if only for liability purposes
Patricia Lite Hickman The hospitals have the birth time probably in their medical records; but if one is sold,,and years later those files go to the basement or wherever,,by the time someone asks, it could be too late ::

Patricia Lite Hickman My children were born in '73 & 72" birth time is on the cert. Twenty years later in "92,, it wasn't; gone :::::

Patrick Downing My brother found mine and it did not have a time on it, but my mom remembers, she was there. I was born in Kenya, CT. I had no idea they stopped putting times on. Hospitals record the time of death, so would think
Patricia Lite Hickman I don't know if it's across the country or not; it's that way in wi. I really think you should bring this issue up at the convention to someone who can make a difference!
Mo Godwin In NYC the Department of Health records the time on only the "long form" which is issued at the birth. If a birth certificate is requested later in life and the long form is not specifically requested, the "short form" is received without the time.
Cj Jansen Hospitals, and nursing homes arent so great at recording the ACTUAL time of DEATH either. When my dad died last year , my brother said they told him, and he was there. will caLL it 745. It was pretty close, but not exact.
Patricia Lite Hickman I'm waiting for Metafizzer to comment. I really think those of us who are as interested in Astrology as we are, should get on top of this. I am really shocked that main Astrology Associations are not acting on this. I am willing to at least write a letter if someone else knows where I should send it. I wonder if we know enough astrologers between us to get a petition going? Any Thoughts or suggestions will be very helpful~ Blessings~
Mo Godwin Lite - AFAN would probably be the best org to go to about this. I'm friendly with both Demetra George and Gary Caton and could ask them what, if anything, AFAN may be doing about this.
Patricia Lite Hickman (((((((((Mo))))))))))) please do that~ Thank you~
Mo Godwin Will do. I'll let you know what they say.
Patricia Lite Hickman Cool, cause if they are ignoring this,, then I want to see who else might think this is a travesty?
