Wonder if you've read The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukherjee? It's a book on the history of cancer, its origins and the on-going battle to fight the disease. Thankfully its written like a "thriller with cancer as a main protagonist". Are other books which win Pulitzers as interesting?
