Good acts don't get anyone into heaven unless you give up your fallen nature by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior, repenting for your sins, and taking on His Godly nature.  Your life is not your own.  You give yourself to Him. Only the blood of Jesus Christ has the remitting power to blot out your sins. By doing that, you take on His virtue because you can't.  Also, getting saved is not getting away with what you did.  You need to repent of all the bad things you did that offended God. Only Jesus and the blood of Jesus Christ can clean you. You're not equipped to do it on your own. Neither am I nor is anyone else at all.

"Not by works of rightiousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5

Good works doesn't equal heaven
Salvation through grace by faith=heaven

Faith without works is dead. (James 2:14-26)

You need to be holy as God is Holy to gain the Holy Spirit and keep lasting friendship with God. Sin separates man from God and (mankind) from one another.
