apex tip gose on the tip of your barrel. you will need to get a barrel that can accept the apex tip to go on. what dose a apex tip do? it dose the  same thing as a flatline gives the ball a back spin. inside the apex their is a piece of rubber what the ball hits and it makes it spin. the apex you can move the slider up or down for more range. you can turn the apex to shot around Connors or shot over logs and down you can do this on a flatline to just by tilting the marker over. max range on the apex is 280 its the same as the flatline i hope this helps about the apex leave a comment if you need help thanks
