OFFLINE | Where does this 90% stat come from? Is she trying to argue that everyone who wasn't a member of Saddam's military counts as a civilian (ie that the Taliban et co are civilian as opposed to military)? That one set the skepticism meter way off!
I wonder what this womans background is? Its been a long time since I've heard such a horrid representation of the status of the world. After listening to her ramblings it seems like she thinks that the rest of the world would be perfectly peaceful if it wasn't for the big bad United States military. Does she not know anything about the regime we toppled in Iraq (and since she accused the US of genocide, I suggest she a) look up the meaning of the bloody term and b) look at the actions of Saddam Husein so she would perhaps appreciate that we deposed a man actually guilty of the crime she wrongly attributes to us) or of the treatment of women, homosexuals, or anyone else who doesn't follow their implementation of fundamentalist Islam. She claims she attacks the troops for civil rights issues, however fails to grasp the crimes of those we overthrew.
While I feel the argument that some members of the the United States military are evil (the folks who murdered and mutilated civilians in Iraq, keeping body parts as trophies), or at minimum have engaged in evil acts (abuse of POWs by American forces in violation of Geneva Convention), to suggest that most (or even a notable percentage) of American soldiers are 'evil' is horridly misguided at best.
Or in summery, FTB. |

OFFLINE | I wonder what she would say if someone pointed out the actions of American troops in Haiti (2010) or Japan (2011)? |

OFFLINE | Well, my first reaction would be:
:-P
After that has been said, is interesting the way at the end that she starts complaining that the troops seem to think think foreigners " aren't as human as we are", as that seems to be pretty much her attitude to the troops.....
