 OFFLINE | Hey everyone!
It has been a great couple of months being a part of this group. My wife Jen Cridlebaugh buried a piece of paper with my username and password written on it in a box filled with other paper and little boxes for Christmas. I think I learned more that night than a year of working on my own.
We made the move from Delaware to Hawaii back in March and are still getting settled in. It's difficult to fly here with all of the air traffic, the airports, powerplants and people everywhere.
That said I've taken this time to tear down our main copter and taylor it to our needs.
We currently fly a cinestar 8 in the X8 Config. With a brushlessgimbals.Com 3 axis gimbal.
I am making various rigs to accept the gimbal. it will be attached to the top of our jeep, a small crane, a large crane, handheld, cable cam, and RC car. A dolly will be added in there somewhere.
It's been great so far,
Thanks for being in such an awesome group of people, and thanks Chris for creating this place for us to gather, share experiences, and pick your brain when things aren't working out for us.

OFFLINE | Hawaii!? Nice! I'm super jealous. One of the main reasons for pursuing this path was to be location independent. Hopefully I can get away cold and s**w (sorry, it's a swear word in my house) and spend more time near the beach.
Sounds like you have a pretty sweet rig. I hope to get something larger soon. I look forward to seeing more of your work! |
