Hi Allan I just noticed my forum could be viewed while logged off and I was under the impression visitors had to become forum members before they could view it.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

The reason is I started a group to funnel them into the forum. But I noticed that the groups size is triple the forum size and has not increased much. So everyone in the group is reading the forum but there is not need for them to join it if they can read it.

So I want to require joining the forum before the can actually read it. How can I do this?

You are not missing anything. However, that feature should be added to forum.

Hi Alan how's the feature coming along?  My facebook group membership is almost at 1000 and I'd like to post something in the forum to motivate them to join it.

It is finally ready and I added one more feature.

Users must like this page to view the forum      and
Users should join the forum to view it

Just go to your page to update your settings.

It is easy. Just go to your page, then click forum tab, and click "Page settings for forum"

No, no, you should not go to your forum, you should go to your fun page that you added forum. Then click the forum tab.
