OFFLINE | We've been asked a few times about malfunctioning air pumps in Jellyfish Art Aquariums. Before coming to the conclusion that it is the air pump that's not working, check the end of the airline (where it bubbles come out, in the aquarium). Where the (pumped) air meets the saltwater, salt crystals can build-up and block the airflow. It there is a build-up of salt in there, soak it in some hot freshwater for a few hours and it should dissolve. And/or poke at it with a long pointy implement (like a little nail or pin) or brush with a pipe cleaner (if you can get one in there). |
