 OFFLINE | I have invited a new member to the forum, but when they click through to the forum they are told that they do not have permission and must ask the administrator.
Very strange as I am the administrator and invited them. Whats going on?

OFFLINE | Since it requires approval, I believe your forum is a private forum.
Therefore, you need to approve new users on your admin panel.
