Is there a way of adding a friend without needing to click on the player when they're online? If so, I would very much apprechiate it if someone could help me.

If this isnt possible then I definately think it'll be great for the future to just simply type a player's name down and add them to your friends list. (I know this is in the wrong topic area but oh well..)
There are quite a few people I would like to add to my friends list but they're not online the same time as me.

haven't tried it for a friend add yet but for everything else you can type it into the normal message box such as

/invite [player name]

and it will work so I would think you could do the same to add friend just not sure what you have to type

maybe
/friend [player name]?
