A BIT ABOUT ME:

I grew up in Oshawa, then met my husband online and moved to the Peterborough area in 2007. I had been a single mom of 2, a survivor of an abuse alcoholic relationship which I endured for 14 years. Through that time I supported my 2 baby girls by teaching myself how to use the computer/Internet (which was still very new at the time). I built a first very rudimentary community website using DreamWeaver which I taught myself to use, and sold advertising. I then moved on to building a Mom's Group using the Meetup platform, and selling advertising on the site to Durham businesses.

FastForward 5 Years:

Since meeting the love of my life online 5 years ago, I have continued to be involved with creating community based organizations and events. I have been the organizer of "Peterborough Moms Group" for 5 years and I am the organizer of the well-known family event "Peterborough Mom2Mom Sale"

I have been a member of the Peterborough Chamber and Peterborough Fast Track. I am currently a member of Millbrook Chamber of Commerce.

I have dabbled with Internet Marketing for approximately one year and recently decided to specialize in Facebook Marketing. I want to help other local business owners create and maintain successful "SOCIAL BUSINESS".
