i need some help pretty please ^_^

can anyone help me find examples from diffrent texts for question A part one (free and bound,,)and question B part two(deep and surface). i have some nice tomashevsky quotes but i cant find anything else - i could realy use any kind of help even just title and page number.

Tomashevsky is the free and bound motifs one. So unless you want to talk about kernels and satellites and throw Chatman in the bunch, I'll advice to leave that part at that. Deep and surface structure - there's been a lot of debate on the group's wall, so have a look there. Otherwise I advise to stick to Freud's discussion of the conscious and unconscious.
