First, I'd like to express how much I appreciate this group and the support you all have given us at Theseus Gaming. We're still getting everything ready to start pitching games to publishers or trying to go the self published route. One of the first games we've been play testing around here is 8-bit Buccaneers, our arcade-styled action and adventure pirate game.

I've already shared the Crew Cards with you all on the group page, so I figured I'd post the other cards in development.

Crew Cards again, for those who missed them the first time.

Treasure cards are done. Legendary treasures give you a Renown Point for finding one and Renown is how you win. The following conditions give you Renown:

Each legendary treasure gives you one
Collecting 25+ gold gives you one
Collecting 50+ gold gives you 2
Conquering 3 forts gives you 1
Conquering all 5 forts gives you 2
Owning the most expensive ship gives you 1
Having a full crew, equipment for them, and max cargo gives you 1
Trading once between each market and the home island gives you 1

For now I'm thinking the victory condition would be 3 Renown. This would make for quicker games and more focused player goals.

The first page of Location Cards. Here we have the Home Island, which is the starting location for the players. It has a Tavern, Market, Armory, and Shipyard so you can do any shopping you want before setting out. The next locations are the Fortresses, which I mentioned before as being a source of Renown for victory. Then Open Water combat locations, pretty easy to beat but they give minimal rewards.

Hello again, everyone! It's been a little while but I've finished all the new cards. We have even had the opportunity to play test all the changes a few times and are quite pleased with how it plays now. Since expanding pretty much everything, the games have been lasting 2-3 hours, we'd like to try to get this down to 1-2. The easiest fix for this is to increase the amount of gold some of the combat rewards give you. Going to play a few more games with things as they are right now just to see if these changes are necessary. Also, working on the new rule book so we can put the PnP up on our web site. Exciting times are ahead!

**Edit Note** Those smaller tokens with the Ship, Kraken, or Natives icons are Enemy Tokens. On your turn, you are able to control an enemy token against your opponents to hinder their efforts.  This mechanic replaced player duels, which didn't quite seem to work the way we had hoped, but we had still wanted to include some form of player interactivity.
