EVENT STRUCTURE

The event will begin with a preselection for all 7 styles.

Each Emperor will be responsible for selecting the 6 best dancers from thier style.

The participants have under a minute to show their skills. Dancers dance to the music of the style they are representing.

Once the preselection lists are done, all Emperors must come together and choose 6 participants for the wild card positions.

The wild card positions can be filled with any dancers they feel will bring a competative edge to the event irregardless of style.

Note: please be sure that the participants chosen both for preselections and wildcards are of value according to the average skill level. If one style does not have enough adequately skilled dancers, then the remaining spot or spots become wildcard positions.

At the end of preselections

After preselections, all dancers names get put into box. The battles start out with 2x2's. Names get randomly picked to form teams each battle at a time. Each team has a max of 1.5 minutes per dancer to perform. Music has to be from the styles competing.

The team that wins gets placed back into the hat to be randomly repicked for the next round.

Once there are 6 participants left, the battle becomes a 3x3 with once again, the teams being randomly picked. Each team has a max of 1.5 minutes per dancer to perform. Music has to be from the styles competing.

Last 3 participants battle eachother. Music has to be from the styles competing. (1:30secs per dancer)

Last three participants get place in positions 1, 2 & 3. 1st place being the winner.

Emperor challenge:

The Emperor of each style will pick out thier best dancer from the 6 they chose out of the preselection (wildcards not included). That being said, that dancer will pick out one of the Emperors to battle. The dancer cannot chose to battle thier own style. The dancer will dance to the music style of the Emperor he/she has called out.

*If the participant defeats the first Emperor, he has obtained the right to battle the Emperor of his style. If successful the participant will be crowned the NEW EMPEROR.
