The 5th Annual General Meeting was held on the 4th of December, 2011 after it was adjourned due to the lack of quorum on the 27th of November, 2011. The attendance list registered only 26 eligible owners. We wish more owners will attend the next AGM.

Jen Leong was elected to chair the meeting. She announced that in their findings, there is no wrong doings of the previous council during their tenure and all their decision makings were recorded in the council meeting minutes. Jen apologized to Robert Teh and the previous council members for any misunderstanding.

James Tan then explained why there was no quorum for the EGM which was held  in April. At first, the quorum needed was 120 eligible voters (half of the total eligible voters) but there were only 105 eligible voters registered on the attendance list as at 2:30PM. Later some people came, stating they have the strata titles and that they will submit their strata titles to the management office in the following days. This increased the attendance to 121 but as they were not registered with the management beforehand, this has also increased the total for a quorum to 130. That is how 121 was still lack of quorum for the EGM and therefore the EGM should be invalidated.

There were some argument put forth by Vijay and Daniel. The chairman then decided to allow a few days to check the attendance list and if found to be lack of quorum then the EGM will be invalidated and recorded as such in the AGM minutes.
