I feel like the power charts for the amps on the fosgate site are insufficient. They do not tell you what your power would be at 3 or even 1.5 ohms. I wanted to put a pair of 12" W7's on foagate amp(s). The 1000bd is no longer sync capable and i think the 2500 or the 1500 may suit my nedds but i have no clue as to which one. There are a few ways to wire the subs but the site does not tell you what the amps power is at these impedances. Does anybody know what those would be and has anyone else ran into this problem?

well the 1500bdcp does 1000 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohm, 1500 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohm so logiclly 1250@3ohm approx

the 2500bd cp does
(RMS Continuous Power)     1500 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohm, 2500 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohm so again logiclly it does 2000@ 3ohm approx

oh and jl's 3 ohm is retarded

I agree that it does make thing a pain...but what are ya gonna do. Thank you for your help I figured that would be about right but didn't know for sure with the new CP line the rule of thumb may not be true.
