Well ladies and gentleman, we are officially in the 30's!!!!!!!!!!~ OMG.....I never thought that these #'s would look so refreshing to me!!!!~ We are over the halfway mark as our men venture into the 8th week, leaving us only 5 more weeks to go!!!!~ I hope everyone had a great weekend, and has an even better week!!!~ I hope that we all get some news this week as to how our guys did in qualifying!!!!!!~ The excitement and anticipation is definitely mounting for me!!!!!! No mail for me today, my mailman apparently knows who I am by now because when I went out to check the mail he was still out there but of course I didn't want to wait! So I went over and asked if he was pretty much done with my mailbox and he said "Yea just about, sorry I don't think there's any 'good' mail today :/" Haha it caught me so off guard! He must have seen me waiting for him to finish on several other occasions lol AND! I can't even check my mail until Friday afternoon because I'll be gone with the 5th graders I mentor Wed, Thur, and Fri up in the North Cascades for Mountain School. Oh man, first thing on my agenda when I get back Friday is check the mail!

NO MAIL for me wither Amanda so you ar enot alone in that!!! I really hope it is only because there was a holiday this week.....But I FEEL FOR YOU right now more than anything!!!!!!!!! I know you are going to have to be focused on the 5th graders yet your mind is totaly going to be on that mailbox!!!!!!!!!! Now all I can say is NO SPEEDING on Friday, or at least if you do DONT GET CAUGHT!!!!!!! ::..........I do the same thing with the 3 different mail men/woman that we have!!!!!!!!! They always tell me "I'm sorry"..........HAHAHA, how bad is that!!! Im sure they just love me as there are A LOT of days that I don't get any mail, but they HAVE to come to my door because there is always a letter for them to take!!!!! HAHAHA!!!!!!!~ Ah the joys of being a Recruiters Mom and GF!!!!!!! Have a safe trip Amanda and I will be praying to the USPS that you are enundated with letters on friday!!!!!

By Friday for sure we should ALL have mail! I finally got to see what Aaron wrote to Megan! It was ALL GOOD!! He apparently scored well enough on the firing range as Srgt were watching that he didn't have to do the other two days and he and some other recruits got to go and pick up old marks and put them in a storage building with NO supervision! He said it was great!! He had some very serious inquiries to his future with Meg!! Ok Apryl, you know where to look for more detail...hehe! You girls have a great day!

THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!   Keeping my fingers crossed for something today!!!!!! I have heard from a ton of other people that they have already been informed by THEIR SONS IN WRITING how they qualified!!!!! WTH Marquis, Aaron and Steven??!!!!!!! ::.........get with the program and write your MOTHERS and your GF already!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HINT HINT HINT!!!!! Oh well wait a minute, maybe it is payback since we sent questionaires to them!!!!!!! Bwahahaha .........I told Tim that the other day and he was laughing so hard at the thought of a bunch of guys in Plt. 2166 filling out "questionaires" and them all being pissed off at Marquis because his mom is the one that set it in motion!!!!! Afterwards he had me laughing so hard I was crying!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL, ANSWER OUR DAMN QUESTIONS THEN GUYS!!!!!!!!!! ::.........

No word yet on how they did? WHAT GIVES?!  Zakk did say that there is one more event this Friday that may change their qualification results. Maybe they are waiting for that? I know I was on pins and needles!!  He wrote us a message Friday night and we got it on Tuesday, but then again I live close by. My fingers are crossed that you all hear something soon!!!  That wait is horrible!! And of course he included the obligatory food list...

And what questionaire is this? I am running out of questions to ask him.

@ Lynette....well see it woud appear that our guys answer some questions and not all the questions...between the 3 of us in here we have been trying to tie everything together.......with no luck of course....So it was my bright idea last week or the week before to write a letter that was strictly questions and blank spots for them to answer and send back!!!!! With the words HINT! HINT! HINT! HINT! all across the top....I even went so far as to send a longer envelope that would fit it with a stamp etc........LOL........WE WANT ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!! We're dying over here!!!!!!!! LOL......Oh yes there is ALWAYS a FOOD LIST in EVERY SINGLE LETTER!!!!!! and a RESTAURANT List!!!!!! ::

Ah!  I have been sending those types of questions too!  I ask Zack over and over the same questions and it takes a few times before he answers.  Like, "what are you doing in Aviation Operations?" Or "what the hell are you doing in Aviation Operations?"  He is being very vague on that one!  He could kindly narrow it down a bit!  But....Nooooooo....I am still waiting on that response. I have a feelilng I won't know until he is done with boot.

::.....see Lynette that is another reason that you belong in THIS Forum........HAHAHA....your in the same situation as the rest of us...asking DIRECT QUESTIONS and getting indirect answers!!!!!!! I've asked everything and gotten maybe 4 answers......and I know he reads my damn letters!!!!!!!!! My biggest question for a long time was how is the platoon doing as it seemed that it was s rough go for a spell, so know in every single letter I hear that the platoon is pulling together but never any other question I ask.......now that is a typical man right ladies!!!!!!!! .......no offence to any man that reads this!!!!!!!!! BTW......Marquis will be doing Avaition Electrician for his MOS.......wonder if him and Zach will be going to the same MOS???

I keep bugging him about it, but like I said, he won't answer. My husband works with a Marine and he told us we won't know until he is done with BC, because of where placement needs are. I don't know....I mean afterall Marquis knows!!!

  I think the men are just trying to make me feel better. LOL Like that is going to happen until I hear it from my son!!!  He keeps talking about going to Florida though, so there is a good chance! At least they will both be at the same place.    

We got another letter from Zack today and he repeated everything he already told us.  That isn't answering my questions!
