It took 11 years to find out what was wrong plus  finding a PCP who listened and believed me, finally got a surgeon who and specialized in parathyroid disease. 20 minute surgery 24 hours in hospital (I had an unusual reaction to the anesthesia, the hospital has a no local for people who have Asthma) I was so surprised how quickly I felt better. That night I sleep without pain in joints or pain killers.  The surgery was easy, dealing with doctors especially the "specialists" and insurance dragging heals was hard.
